Marjorie Louise Welty

Marjorie Louise Welty, 87 of Bremen passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the home of her daughter. She was born September 11, 1922 at her home in Bremen to Jacob & Cora (Huff) Yockey. On August 5, 1944 she married Devon C. Welty. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1996. Marjorie graduated from Bremen High School in 1940, was a farmer's wife and retired from Universal Bearings after 13 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bremen.

Survivors include 2 daughters Gloria (Les) Graham of Bremen and Cheryl Welty of Wakarusa, 1 sister Mildred Davis of Bremen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gregory Alan, 2 sisters, 3 brothers.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Ben Hammond. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church.
