Robert K. 'Ken' Jennings

March 21, 1944 — September 19, 2009

Robert K. 'Ken' Jennings, 65, of Winona Lake and previously of Syracuse passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. He was born March 21, 1944 in Huntington to Howard and Ethel (Stoltz) Jennings. In 1967 he married Karen Ann Jennings who proceeded him in death in 1999. In 2002 he married Carla Smith, she survives. He was a Quality Assurance Manager with AM General in South Bend, previously employed at International Harvester in Fort Wayne, and was a past owner of the Frog Tavern in Syracuse. He was a member of St. Martin dePorres Catholic church and attended Warsaw Community Church and Grace Village Chapel. Ken was a member of the North Webster American Legion Post 253, was a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelors in Business Management,and was a developer of Pier 343 Condominium Complex on Lake Wawasee. While serving in the army, he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.

Also surviving are one daughter: Janelle (Christopher) Romano of Ashburn, Virginia; one son: Jack (Tammy) Jennings of Warsaw; A stepdaughter Tonya (Christopher) Gerhardt of Fort Wayne; eight Grandchildren; three Brothers: Doug (Patti) Jennings of Crystal Lake, IL; Ron (Carol) Jennings of New Haven; Rick (Kelly) Jennings of Huntington; and a sister Rosie (Jay) Hill of Huntington.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse.

Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 10:30 AM. St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church in Syracuse with Father Richard Hire officiating. Burial will be at Syracuse

cemetery with military honors conducted by the members of the North Webster American Legion.
