Ruth W. Clindaniel

April 24, 1915 — August 31, 2009

Ruth W. Clindaniel, 94, of Venice, FL, formerly of Bremen and Syracuse, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Pinebrook Nursing Home in Venice, FL.

She was born April 24, 1915 in Methuen, MA to Walter & Ada (Sharpe) Webb. In 1933 she married George Clindaniel, he preceded her in death.

Ruth was a homemaker, member of the Order of Eastern Star and she attended the Mormon Church in Warsaw. Ruth and her husband came up with the name for Sprig-O-Mint Farm, as a result, the golf course was named Sprig-O-Mint and the Bremen High School Yearbook became the Sprig-O-Mint.

She is survived by two sisters, Grace Kohler and Shirley Glass both of Venice, FL, nieces and nephews, Donna Stinson of Lebanon, TN, Doris (Neil) Cripe, Jim (Aileen) Clindaniel, Millard (Valena) Clauss all of Bremen, Roger (Loudell) Clauss of South Bend and Joyce (Jesse) Landers of Fishers, IN

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters Hazel and Mildred.

Services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the Bremen Cemetery Chapel. Pastor Brad Thornton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Marshall County Humane Society or Hospice.
