Jeanette H. Stegman

Jeanette H. Stegman, 95, of South Bend, IN, passed away on July 8, 2009, at 12:40pm, at Bremen Health Care Center. She was born on December 27, 1913, in Teegarden, IN, to Willis & Pearl (Johnson) Divine.

She married Carl "Chuck" W. Stegman on August 24, 1937. He preceded in 2006.

Jeanette graduated from Tyner High School in 1931, and also received a Business Technical Degree. She retired from White Farm Equipment in South Bend after 20 years. Jeanette was a member of Calvary Temple Church where she was very active. She was a prayer counselor for a prayer line for a Christian television station in Clearwater, was the Director of Child Evangelism, youth advisor and teacher, Sunday School superintendent and worked with the juvenile detention center.

Survivors include her Son: David (Susan) Stegman of Mooresville, IN, Daughter: Pam (Roger) Katterheinrich of Bremen, 2 Brothers: Gail Divine of California, Paul Divine of Mishawaka, 2 Sisters: Alice Gibbs of Alabama, Evelyn Packard of Niles, MI, 6 Grandchildren, 2 Step Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 5 Step Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in Death by: her Parents, Husband, 2 Sisters, 3 Brothers.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 10:30am at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Rev. Paul Murray will officiate. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Friday, July 10, 2009, at the funeral home.
