Sharon Kay Egolf, 65, of Warsaw, formerly of Woodruff, SC, passed away on July 6, 2009 at her residence. She was born August 16, 1943 in Warsaw to Ray and Marjorie (Zorn) Black. She married Max Egolf, who survives.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Warsaw Women's Bowling League and loved horseback riding. She liked woodworking, gardening and enjoyed genealogy, searching the family back to the 1700's.
Survivors include husband Max of Warsaw and daughter Raelyn, 2 sons: Brian Landis of Warsaw and Bruce (Negsti) Egolf of Jacksonville, FL, 4 sisters: Marsha (Joe) Sanburn, Debbie (Alan) Johnson, Connie (Lance) Bell, all of Warsaw and Kathy (Brent) Lursen of Leesburg, 2 brothers: Gary Black and Larry Black, both of Warsaw, and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Jackie Egolf and sister Judy Loer.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at her son Brians residence located at 5417 West 400 North Warsaw, IN 46582 and will be officiated by Pastor John Laughlin and Pastor Jerry Thomas. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw.
Friends may call from 4 ? 8PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the residence.
