Bonnie Jean Erven

Bonnie Jean Erven, 70, of Goshen passed away on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Maples at Waterford Crossing in Goshen. She was born on September 28, 1938 in South Bend to Marlowe & Agnes (Smith) Smith. She married Robert "Bob" Erven on April 27, 1957. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Bonnie graduated from John Adams High School in 1956 and was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Bremen.

Survivors include 1 son: Randy Lee Erven of Elkhart, 1 daughter: Becky (Jeff) Boomershine of Goshen, 2 grandsons: Brandon Rummel of Boise, Idaho and Chori Rummel of Goshen, 2 step-granddaughters: Ashley & Allie Boomershine of Goshen and 1 brother: Bob Smith of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob.

Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Scott Tilley. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery

Friends may call 1 hour before service on Wednesday.
