Jeane Richardson

Jeane Richardson, 79, of South Bend, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 15, 2009. She was born on May 12, 1930, in Chicago to George & Anna (Tumpsa) Wagner.

She married Robert "Bob" Richardson on March 19, 1949, in Chicago. She was the love of his life and they were married for 60 years. Bob survives.

Jeane graduated from Taft High School in Chicago and attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church (formerly St. Marys) in South Bend. She was a tremendous reader, loved to talk and was a wonderful friend.

Survivors include her husband Bob, of South Bend, 3 daughters: Pam (Ed) Beery of Bremen, Donna (Mark) Richardson-Garringer of Ft. Wayne, Lisa (Dr. John) Brown of Grosse Pointe Park, MI, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009, at 11:00AM at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Dr. Duane Beals will officiate. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
