Jeanette C. Evans

Jeanette C. (Williams) Evans, 94, of Milford passed away May 31, 2009 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette was born December 29, 1914 to the late Jacob and Emma (Thompson) Williams. On August 25, 1935 she married Warren D. Evans who preceded her on May 7, 2003.

Jeanette was a lifetime area resident with a winter home in Bonita Springs, Florida. She was a member of the Milford Christian Church. She enjoyed children, crocheting, and doing crafts, gardening and flowers. She loved playing practical jokes and couldn't wait for April 1st to get here each year. Jeanette loved to sing and enjoyed helping her elderly friends and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Jeanette is survived by three daughters, Joan (Lewis)Bass, Bedford, TX, Lois (Conrad) Neff, New Paris, IN, Hilda (Robert) O'Blenis, Bonita Springs, FL; one son Max (Marlene) Evans, Syracuse, IN. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, three half sisters and one half brother.

She was preceded by her husband, parents, four sisters and two brothers.

Services for Jeanette will be Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Steven Leininger officiating at the Milford Christian Church. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 5, 2009 from 4-8 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford.
