Richard H. Merriman

Richard H. Merriman, 77, of Syracuse passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009, 6:51 PM at Goshen General Hospital. He was born October 30, 1931 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. On October 11, 1981 he married Joanna Brooks, she survives. He was a Syracuse resident since 1995 coming from Sarasota, Florida, was a receiver with Pamida in Syracuse, was a member of EOSN Bowling League in Syracuse, and was a Navy Veteran that served in the Korean Conflict.

Other survivors include 2 sons: Richard Irving Lee Merriman of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; and Richard Henry Lee Merriman of Syracuse.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 5-7 PM at the Brooks residence located at 6943 Eli Lilly Road.
