Dorothy V. Pfeiffer

Dorothy Verda (Long) Pfeiffer, 84, of Bremen, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Peru, Indiana.

She was born January 2, 1925, in Milford, Indiana, to Lester and Elsie (Sierk) Long. She was a loving wife, mother, graduate of Indiana Business College and member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are son, John L. (Lora) Pfeiffer of Bremen; daughter, Janice (Gary) Dougan of Boonville; sister, Shirley Long Drof of FL; brother, James B. (Emily) Long of AZ; and six grandchildren.

Dorothy was married to Roger A. Pfeiffer who preceded her in death. Parents, Lester and Elsie Long; daughter, Jean Ellen Pfeiffer; and brother, Robert Long also preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, May 29, 2009 at the Bremen Cemetery Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Mike Fanning. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour before the service at the chapel.
