Audrie June Dean

Audrie June Dean, 75, of Syracuse passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009, 1:15 AM at her residence. She was born on August 2, 1933 in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania to Wesley & Mary (Lewis) Wandel. On March 12, 1955 she married Jack Eugene Dean, he preceded her in death on December 27, 2004.

Audrie was a Syracuse resident for the past 50+ years coming from Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Syracuse Eagles Lodge, the Syracuse American Legion Ladies Aux., and a Lifetime member of the Syracuse VFW Ladies Aux.

Other survivors include 5 daughters: Nikki (Richard) Stump of Goshen; Darcy Dean of Syracuse; Deanna (Enoch) Standridge of Cusetta, Georgia; Jackie Dean (Garry Hamilton) of Syracuse; and Jeanie (John) Smeltzer of Syracuse. 1 son: Mark (Dixie) Dean of Syracuse. 10 Grandchildren, 2 step Grandchildren, and 10 Great grandchildren. 1 sister: Georgia Mohn of Sassamansville, Pennsylvania. She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Carl Smeltzer.

Services for Audrie are Wednesday, May 20, 2:30 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with Pastor Brooks Henry officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 19 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
