Marjorie Bope, 74, of Bremen passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born on March 11, 1935, inKosciusko County, IN, to Cloyd & Esther (Eslinger) Heckaman.

She married Charles Bope.

Marjorie was a retired custodian for the Bremen School Corporation. She graduated from Madison High School in 1953 and attended Bremen Missionary Church. Marjorie was involved with Marshall County 4-H, was on the fair board & was a long time leader, volunteered for Northern Indiana Food Bank in South Bend.

Survivors include 3 sons: Edward (Linda) Bope of Lapaz, Jim Bope of Bremen, Lonnie (Pam) Bope of Nappanee, 1 daughter: Tonya (Ben Robbins) of Warsaw, 8 Grandchildren: Elizabeth, Kristin, Veronica, Cristina, Vanessa, David, Jared, Aubrie, 1 great-granddaughter on the way, her Sister-in-law: Carol Heckaman. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Penny, parents, brother Clark Heckaman.

Services will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Bremen Missionary Church with Pastor Gary Hinkle & Pastor Paul Loucks. Burial will take place at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 ? 8 PM on Friday, March 27, 2009, at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County 4-H, Gideons International or donation to Food Bank of Northern Indiana (702 Chapin St., South Bend, IN 46601).
