Emma Smith-Compton

Emma Smith-Compton,85 of Glasgow, KY, formerly of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in Glasgow, KY.

She was born on January 25, 1924 in Glasgow, KY. She married Chester Smith, who preceded him in death. She then married Ralph Compton of Glasgow, KY, who survives.

Other survivors include one son Robert "Bobby" Smith of South Bend and 4 grandchildren: Curt Smith, Bobby Smith, Shelly Smith and Lisa Smith. She was the oldest of 7 brothers and sisters.



Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the Bremen Cemetery Chapel. Burial wil be at the Bremen Cemetery.
