Jacob "Gene" Keller

Jacob "Gene" Keller,65, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 at his residence. Gene was born on February 25, 1944 in Ft Wayne, Indiana to Marion Eugene Keller and Ida Pearl (Marquis) Go-On both deceased.

Gene married Peggy (Miller) Keller on April 7, 2000. Recently of Milford he also lived in Tennessee and Ft Wayne. Gene retired after 30 years from Pot Latch in Ft Wayne and recently was a driver transporting fifth wheel travel trailers.

Gene loved spending time in the outdoors hunting. He enjoyed camping in Cherokee North Carolina fishing for trout. He liked watching NASCAR and supporting his favorite drivers. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grand father.



He is surived by his wife, Peggy, nine children, Rebecca Keller, Milford, John (Samantha) Keller, North Webster, Michael (Sonya) Keller, Columbia City, Kevin (Krista) Keller, Michigan, Chantel Hunter, Warsaw, Kristi (James) Lostis, Warsaw, Erin Miller, TN, Darla Stromhd, David Keller, N.C. Also surviving are 23 grand children, 4 great grandchildren, one brother Charles Keller, FL, a step sister, Celia Ray, Ft Wayne, and a step borther Ron Go-On, Ft Wayne.

He was preceded in Death By his Parents and step father Phillip Go-On.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 6:00 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, with Reverend Harlan Steffen officiating. Visitation for Gene will be Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 4-6 PM at the Funeral Home.
