Roger Mullins

Roger Mullins, 59, of Syracuse passed away Monday, November 25, 2008 at Goshen General Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1949, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Newman & Margaret (Cantrell) Mullins.

Roger moved to Syracuse in 1997, from West Virginia, and was Co-owner of Mullins Auto Sales. He previously worked at Smoker Craft in New Paris and was a Realtor with Century 21 in Syracuse. He attended various churches and was a previous member of the Syracuse Kiwanis.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Vickie Ninemyre of Syracuse, 1 stepson: Denny Blosser of Fort Worth, TX, 5 grandchildren, his Mother: Margaret Alshire of Syracuse, his Sister: Ann (John) McNamara of Topeka, IN, 2 Brothers: Rex Mullins of Cromwell and Robert "Creed" Mullins of Milford. He was preceded in death by his father: Newman Mullins and Step Father: Claudie Aleshire.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at 11:00AM, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse. Pastor Jimmy Shepherd will officiate. Burial will take place at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Friday, November 28, 2008, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Care at Home/Hospice Program of Goshen General Hospital.
