Mary A. Holewinski

Mary A. Holewinski, 86, of Bremen, passed away on October 20, 2008, at Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born on June 16, 1922, to Charles & Ann (VonBergen) Nicholas.

She married Erwin Holewinski on February 9, 1944. He survives.

Mary was retired and had worked for the hospital in Bremen for several years as a licensed medical records librarian. She graduated from Riley High School in South Bend in 1940 and enjoyed playing cards with a group of close friends.

Survivors include her husband Erwin Holewinski, of Bremen, 2 Sons: Erwin "Bud" Holewinski, Jr. (Brenda) of Elkhart, Dennis Holewinski of Lakeville, 3 Grandchildren: Kirk (Donna) Holewinski of Bristol, Amberley Fenner of Middlebury, Tabbitha "Tabby" Sauter of Bremen, 1 Great-Granddaughter: Mariah Holewinski of Goshen. SHe was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter Kristian Ann, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, October 24, 2008, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate. Burial will take place at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Thursday, October 23, 2008, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
