Luetta J. Egolf

Luetta J. Egolf, 82, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born on February 13, 1926, in Silver Lake, Indiana, to Gene Hill & Fern Christner.

On September 1, 1947, she married Phillip D. Egolf; he preceded her in death on December 17, 1994.

A lifetime area resident, Luetta was a homemaker and retired from Heaters Engineering in North Webster. She graduated from Warsaw High School.

Survivors include a Daughter: Dixie Mullins of Milford, 2 Sons: David and Terry Egolf, both of Syracuse, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Linda Miller in 1992.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 11:00AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Pastor Damon Hayward will officiate. Burial will take place at Harrison Center Cemetery in Warsaw. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the funeral home.
