Betty E. Mckibben

Betty E. McKibben, 79, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1928, in Nappanee, IN, to John & Eva (Linn) Reed.

On April 13, 1947, she married Charles F. McKibben; he survives.

A lifetime area resident, she retired in 1992, from Syracuse Rubber as a punch press operator after 43 years of service.

Survivors include her Husband, 2 Sons: Dallas (Sharon) McKibben of Syracuse, Rick McKibben of Syracuse, Grandchildren: Kimberly Senders, Robert McKibben, Brady McKibben, Trevor McKibben and Heather Bixler, 11 Great Grandchildren, 3 Sisters: Mirian Lung of Goshen, Margaret Stutzman of Nappanee and Ethel Hughes of Syracuse, 1 Brother: Chuck Reed of Syracuse. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 11:30AM at the Syracuse Cemetery. Pastor Mark Eastway will officiate. No visitation is planned.
