Max E. Thomas, 78, of North Webster passed away Friday, March 21, 2008, 11:26 PM, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne.
He was born April 22, 1929 in Kosciusko County, Indiana to Albert & Edna (Hissong) Thomas. On March 28, 1948 he married Jeanette N. Lamprecht, and she preceded him in death on February 2, 1991.
Max was a lifetime area resident and a farmer; and he was a member of the Kosciusko County Saddle Club and a previous 4H Leader.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary (Randy) Moorman of North Webster and his son, Daryl Thomas of North Webster, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Donnabelle LePage and an infant sister.
Services for Mr. Thomas will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse. Rev. Richard LePage will be officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
