Dennis R. Harper

Mr. Dennis R. Harper passed away February 15, 2008 at 6:15 AM at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne after an courageous battle with heart disease. He was born on December 30, 1950, in Princeton, Indiana, to Herschel & Phyllis (Sullivan) Harper and moved to Syracuse in 1957.

Dennis was retired from Bristol Pipe in Elkhart, IN, after 22 years of service as a purchasing manager and accountant. He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1969 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in business from Indiana University in 1973. He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, Moose Lodge, Eagles #3760 and Maxwelton golf course, both of Syracuse.

Survivors include his extended family and several close friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Eagles #3760 in Syracuse, from 1-5PM.

Memorials may be made to Hospice, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
