Richard Burton Thompson

Richard Burton Thompson, 54, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2008, at his residence. He was born on December 29, 1953, in Paulding, Ohio, to Carl & Dorothy (Sutton) Thompson.
Richard lived in Syracuse since August of 2007, coming from New York City. He was previously a Controller with Van Guard, Inc. in Manhattan from 1979 to 2004.
Survivors include 2 Brothers: Robert Thompson and James Thompson, both of Syracuse, 1 nephew and his Best Friend: Jim Lavin, of Syracuse.
No calling is planned; a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Danny & Eddies in Manhattan at 6 PM.
Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
