Erma Carrasco

Erma Carrasco, 100, of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at 12:08PM at Bremen Health Care Center. She was born on January 15, 1907, in Portland, IN, to Charles & Johanna (Schmucker) Schramm.

She married Lee Kramer in 1937; he preceded her in death in 1972. She then married Enrique (Rick) Carrasco on September 26, 1979; he preceded her in death on April 5, 1989.

Erma moved to Bremen in 1988, coming from Chicago. She was a Clerk at Parkside Market in Chicago for 16 years. Erma attended Bremen Bible Church. She was a graduate of Atwood High School.

Survivors include 4 Grandchildren: Laura Grunderman, Jeffrey Thunander, David Thunander, Karen Perry, 7 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great Grandchildren, 4 Nephews: Charles (Barbara) Schramm of Bremen, Robert (Florence) Henne of Florida, Andy Schramm of California, Charles Long of Utah, 3 Nieces: Sonya Hoskins of Syracuse, Brenda Mishler of Syracuse, Joan Woods of Georgia.

Preceded in Death by: Both Husbands, 1 Daughter: Lila Lee Thunander, 2 Sisters: Hazel Reynolds and Ruth Long, 2 Brothers: Woodrow Schramm and Chester Schramm.

Services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007, at 4:00PM, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.

Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.
