Sharon K. Laurie

Sharon K. Laurie, 63, of Wawaka, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007, at Avalon Village in Ligonier. She was born on March 27, 1944, in Richmond, Indiana, to Herschle Landon & Edith (Cooper) Goodrich.

A lifetime area resident, she had worked at Superior Sample for over 15 years and had worked as an inspector for the last 14 years at Parker & Hannifan. Sharon graduated from Wawaka High School in 1962. She was a life member of the Noble County Humane Society and spent her life caring for the welfare of animals and her family whom she loved dearly.

Survivors include 2 Sons: Terry (Maggie) Glant of Morris, IL, Joseph (Andrea) Glant of Marsielles, IL, 6 Grandchildren: Joshua, Shea, Destiny, & Madysn of Morris, IL, Stephen & Isabelle of Marsielles, IL, 1 Great Grandson: Hayden of Earlville, IL and 1 Brother: Bill (Karen) Landon of Wolcottville. She was preceded in death by her father.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007, at the Ligonier Church of Christ, 9025 N. 860 W., Ligonier, IN 46767, at 5:00PM. Pastor Mel Harrell will officiate. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Friday, May 25, 2007.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Noble County Humane Society or Southern Care Hospice.
