Mary Ruth Meyers

Mary Ruth (Cousins) Meyers, 71, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2007, at the Goshen General Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1936, in Hillsdale County Michigan to James & Ruth (Harmon)Cousins.

On July 27, 1957, she married William Meyers, he survives.

Mrs. Meyers was a Homemaker and devoted mother. She was a previous telephone operator in Columbia City and Syracuse and also attended Michigan State University.

Survivors include 3 daughters: Natalie (Dave) Munn of Fremont, CA, Emily Meyers of Santa Monica, CA, Anna (John) Monaghan of Mt. Clemens, MI; 5 Granchildren: Aeriel Meyers, Martin & Leia Munn, Jonah Mullet, Liam Monagham; 4 Sisters: Eloise (Jim) Lewis, Eva Carpenter, Martha (Norman) Brooks, Kay Brown; 1 Brother: Fred (Bonnie) Cousins. She was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Anna Battle and Alice Spiteri.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 10:30 AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Pastor Brad Cox will officiate. Burial will be at the McClintic Cemetery in Syracuse. Friends may call from 2-4PM & 6-8PM Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at the funeral home.
