Robert B. Ahrns

Robert B. Ahrns, 66, of Nappanee, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital. He was born on June 21, 1940, in Findlay, Ohio, to Don & Bernice (Butler) Ahrns.

On June 20, 1970, he married Kay Noel. She survives.

A lifetime Syracuse/North Webster area resident, Robert was a Speech Pathologist for Wawasee Community Schools from 1965-1999. He was also a graduate of Milford High School, received his BA from Ball State University and his Masters from St. Francis. He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Kay of Nappanee, Parents: Don and Bernice Ahrns of Goshen, 2 Sisters: Judi (Jack) Ulery of Coupeville, WA, Nancy (Michael) Treesh of Sugar Lane, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday, January 15, 2007, at 11:00AM at the Milford United Methodist Church with the Reverends Robert Nelson and Scott Mann officiating. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
