Carolyn J. Manges

Carolyn Manges, age 66, of Bremen, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007, at the Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born on September 21, 1940, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Norence & Florence (Lange) Nelson.

On August 8, 1977, she married Evan Manges, in Bremen. Carolyn was a homemaker.

Survivors include her Husband: Evan Manges, of Bremen, 1 Daughter: Terry (Phillip) Mitro of Williamsburg, Iowa, 3 Sons: Ken (Jodi) Gibson of Dubuque, Iowa, Lawrence "Larry" (Jenny) Gibson of Mahomet, Illinois, Joseph (Lisa) Gibson of Plymouth, Indiana, 3 Stepdaughters: Penny (Coly) Eddinger of Nappanee, Indiana, Susan (Steve) Florenz, of Manteca, California, Amy (Steve) Trevino of Susanville, California, 3 Stepsons: Curt (Cathy) Manges of Valley Springs, California, Jan David Manges of Turlock, California, Cris (Ann Marie) Manges of Nappanee, Indiana, 4 Sisters: Dorothy (Myron) Zinkel of Nevada, Thelma Watson of Cushing, Oklahoma, Bonnie (Robert) Salasek of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Anna (Wayne) Youngbult of Lisbon, Iowa, 1 Brother: John (Pat) Nelson of Sebeka, Minnesota, 24 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Francis "Ole" Nelson and Raymond Nelson.

Services will be held Monday, January 8, 2007, at 10:00AM at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Chaplin Tom Padberg will officiate. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8PM on Sunday, January 7, 2007, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Marshall County.
