Brenda S. Rochester

Brenda S. Rochester, age 53, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Milford. She was born on September 18, 1953, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to Fred & Lois (Bunch) Smith.

In 2000, she married Ollie B. Rochester. He survives.

A lifetime area resident, Brenda was formerly employed at Homecrest in Goshen.

Survivors include her Mother: Lois Smith, of Knightstown, 1 Daughter: Kelly (Russ) Justice of Silver Lake, 1 Son: Aric (Christy) Dewees of Silver Lake, 3 Sisters: Peggy (Donnie) Stephens of Carthage, IN, Mary Jones of Knightstown, IN, Mildred (Jim) White of Spiceland, IN, 5 Brothers: Herbie (Sharon) Smith of Syracuse, Allen (Sue) Smith of Milroy, IN, Carl (Irene) Smith of Greenfield, David (Patty) Smith of Knightstown, James (Evelyn) Smith of Franklin, 2 Grandchildren: Tristan and Kelsey Justice. She was preceded in death by her father, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at 1:00PM at the Mishler Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Pastor Jonathan Light will officiate. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, January 1, 2007, from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
