Donald K. White

Donald K. White, age 89, of North Webster, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born on November 25, 1917, in Darke County, Ohio, to Guy & Fern (McCabe) White.

On October 7, 1956, he married Jane Riggs. She preceded him in death on February 10, 1986.

A lifetime area resident, Don was a real estate developer, including the north side of Kuhn Lake, and worked for several years with Strombeck Septic Tank Service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #253 in North Webster, a WWII Army Veteran and an avid IU Basketball fan.

Survivors include a Stepson: Robin Antrim of Denver, Colorado; 1 Sister: Doris Jamison of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Nieces: Barbara Jamison of Merced, California, Judith Rose of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sharon Coverstone of North Webster; and Nephews: Thomas Brindle and Robert K. Brindle, both of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and 1 Sister: Mary Brindle.

Services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2006, at 1:00PM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel. Pastor Harlan Steffan will officiate. Burial will follow, with honors by the North Webster American Legion, at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition. Friends may call 2 hours prior to services on Saturday, from 11:00AM - 1:00PM.
