Elsie Irene Modglin

Elsie Modglin, age 86, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006, in Muncie. She was born on March 18, 1920, in Blacklick, Ohio, to Albert & Lillian (Heffner) Strait.

She married Donald Earl Perry, he preceded, then she married Joseph J. Modglin, he preceded.

A lifetime area resident, she was a Tupperware Manager, was in the top ten sales in the United States for ten straight years, Vanda Beauty Counselor/Distributor Fort Wayne/Syracuse, Cafeteria Food Manager in Muncie, and ran Bingo for the Milford, Cromwell and Goshen areas. She was also a member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel.

Survivors include 2 Daughters: Barbara of Richmond, Indiana, and Jeannie of California, 2 Sons: Ron of Columbia City and Rick of Muncie. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 Son: Marvin Perry.

Services will be held Friday, December 1, 2006, at 11:00AM at the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, 10419 N. Turkey Creek Road, Cromwell. Pastor Harlan Steffen will officiate. Burial will be at the Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8PM Thursday, November 30, 2006, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel or the American Heart Association.
