Ralph Crosby, age 79, of Leesburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw. He was born on August 16, 1927, in Wolcott, Indiana, to George Elmer Crosby and Jess Miller.
On April 16, 1960, he married Dorothy (Aker) Hirstein.
Ralph resided in Elkhart for 25 years before moving to Leesburg. He was the Founder of Hart City RV in Elkhart in 1982 and retired in 1992. Ralph served in the US Army from 1945-1947, was a WWII Veteran, receiving the WWII Victory Medal and the American Theater Ribbon.
Survivors include his Wife: Dorothy L. Crosby of Leesburg, 1 Daughter: Donna Jean Rowe of Knox, 2 Sons: Donald R. (Linda L.) Crosby of Plymouth, David L. (Nona) Crosby of Knox, 1 Stepdaughter: Sheryl S. (James) Rock of Springfield, Missouri, 1 Stepson: Larry K. (Betty) Hirstein of Nappannee, 1 Sister: Juanita (Eugene) Bowen of Elkhart, 15 Grandchildren and 23 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: June and Frances and 1 Brother: Glen.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at 1:30PM at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Paul Drazich and Pastor Jerry Smith will officiate. Military Graveside services will follow at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Monday, October 30, 2006, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kosciusko County Cancer Fund or the First Baptist Church in Bremen.
