Tara M. Allen

Tara M. Allen, age 35, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at her residence. She was born on April 30, 1971, in Grant, Michigan, to Jay & Cindy (Porter) Porter.

On August 29, 2003, she married Steve Allen. He survives.

Tara lived most of her life in the Syracuse area. She was a Housewife and a 1989 graduate of Grant High School in Michigan. She attended Muskegon Community College with a focus in early childhood education, she was a licensed realtor and she was working toward a license in physical therapy in Fort Wayne. Tara attended Wawasee Lakeside Chapel and she enjoyed arts and crafts, swimming, jet skiing and boating.

Tara is survived by her husband: Steve of Milford, her mother: Cindy Porter of Florida, 2 sons: McKenzie Avery and Connor Samuel Allen both at home, 2 sisters: Mandy (Brian) Jones of Cromwell, Kimberly Moore of Syracuse, her grandmother: Helen Schuster of Syracuse, and her grandfather: Carmon Porter of Cedar Springs, MI. She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2006, at 2:00 P.M., at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Pastor Harlan Steffen will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 11-2 P.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2006, at the Mishler-Eastlund funeral home in Syracuse.
