Mary Edith Wright

Mary Edith Wright, age 80, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born on March 31, 1926 in Lima, Ohio, to Mark & Bertha (Cesna) Durham.

On February 28, 1948, she married Eugene Wright. He preceded here in death in 1995.



Mary moved to the Syracuse area in 1946 from Napoleon, Ohio, and was the Owner / Operator of a local cleaning service. She was also a member of Saint Andrews United Methodist Church of Syracuse.

Survivors include 2 Daughters: Connie Morrow of Syracuse and Betty (Danie) Taylor of Kimmel, 1 Son: Jerry Wright of Syracuse, 4 Grandchildren, 2 Step-Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 3 Sisters: Bonnie Vollmar of Liberty Center, OH, Delores Zentz of Nappanee and Donna Elher of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Eugene, 2 Sons, 4 Sisters: Bulah Davis, Dorothy Wagner, Lealah Homestead, Marjorie Rettig, 3 Brothers: Mark Durham, Kenneth Durham and William Hutt.

Services will be held Monday, October 9, 2006, at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Andrews United Methodist Church, 1413 N Long Drive Syracuse, Indiana, 46567. Pastor Mark Eastway will officiate. Burial will take place at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 P.M. on Sunday, October 8th at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse.
