Reena K. Huard

Reena "Sis" K. Huard, age 48, of Ft. Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2006, at her home following a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. She was born on June 28, 1958, in Rushville, Indiana, to Thomas and Helen (Spillman) Fry.

On August 10, 1991, she married James Huard in Ft. Wayne.

Reena lived most of her life in Ft. Wayne and worked for the St. Joe Road Kroger's Grocery Store, also in Ft. Wayne. She enjoyed crafts, especially crochet; she enjoyed boating and fishing. Reena loved to travel and take vacations with her husband and family. She enjoyed "Movie Nights" with her family and friends. Her greatest Love and Joy in life was her family and bringing family together. Her smile, her laugh and her Love for Life will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her husband: James Huard. A son: Thomas D. Rock of Ft. Wayne. Two daughters: Jackie M. (Brandon) Nussbaum of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and Allie M. Huard, who lived at home and is a junior at Northrop High School. 1 brother: Danny Fry of Ft. Wayne and 2 sisters: Cathy L. (Keith) Hawk of Ft. Wayne and Tom J. (Rodney, Sr.) Wilkinson, of Bremen, Indiana. Reena has 6 grandchildren: Brianna, Drew, Callie, Sierra, Hailey and Dustin. Her Mother-In-Law: Patricia D. Huard of Bryan, Ohio, and her Father-In-Law: Mike (Sue) Huard of Edon, Ohio, also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Helen Fry.

Services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2006, at 10:30AM at the Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Ft. Wayne. Pastor Sandy Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, also in Ft. Wayne. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8PM on Friday, September 15, 2006, at the Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road in Ft. Wayne.
