Eleanor E. Foulke

Eleanor E. Foulke, age 87, of Goshen, passed away at the Greencroft Health Care Center on August 22, 2006. She was born on May 21, 1919, in Swayzee, Indiana, to Joseph E. and Emma Rosetta (Tucker) Robinson.

On August 31, 1941, she married Kenneth E. Foulk, in Swayzee, Indiana. He survives.

Eleanor lived in Elberfeld Circuit, Indiana, from 1943-1946; in Wapakoneta, Ohio, from 1946-1951; in Syracuse from 1951-1958; Rochester, Indiana, from 1958-1962; South Bend 1962-1972; Albion 1972-1984; Syracuse 1984-1992; and from 1992-present, she lived in Goshen. She was a Choir Director at all of the churches they served and a homemaker. Eleanor was also a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, 1937 graduate of Sweetser High School and attended Taylor University.

She is survived by her husband, 2 daughters: Sharon (Larry) Johnson of Silvis, Illinois, and Margaret (Pat) Foulke-Evans of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2006, at 10:30AM at the Calvary United Methodist Church. Friends may call on Friday, August 25, 2006, from 6-8PM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assocation or Calvary United Methodist Church.
