Joseph H. Peachey

Joseph H. Peachey, of Nappanee, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2006, at 10:20PM in the Bremen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center; he was 81 years of age.

Joseph was born on August 18, 1924, in Belleville, Pennsylvania, to the late Omar and Rachel (Yoder) Peachey. Joseph moved to Indiana in 1971. He was married to Susie Riehl, who preceded him in death. On March 23, 1972, Joseph married Mary Graber, who survives in Nappanee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Susie Riehl, a son, Leon R. Peachy; brother, Andrew Peachey; and his infant sister, Mary Ann Peachey. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Graber) Peachey of Nappanee; a daughter in law, Katie Peachey; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Samuel, Jesse, and John Peachey, all of Pennsylvania.

Services for Joseph will be 9:30AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at the home of Bishop Lisle Hochstetler, 13896 N. 1050 W., Nappanee. Bishop Lisle Hochstetler will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Weldy Cemetery in Nappanee.

Viewing will be on Monday, July 10, from 2-8PM and again, all day on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at the Home of Bishop Lisle Hochstetler.
