Olive J. Campbell, age 83, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2006, at the Community Hospital of Bremen. She was born on November 14, 1923, in Kewanna, Indiana, to John & Bessie (Moore) Knebel.
She married Thomas Campbell, who preceded her in death on November 14, 1988.
Olive lived in Bremen until retiring to Florida. She returned to Bremen, where she has lived for the past 17 years of her life.
Olive formerly worked as the manager for the Bremen Hotel. She was a member of the Bremen VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her children: Beverly (Russell) Bope of Bremen and Jack (Diana) Bonnell of Edgewater, Florida. Her grandchildren: Sherri (Jay) Hall-Conrad of Wakarusa, Indiana, Honor (Mike) Mellen of Welaka, Florida; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Hall and Cody Conrad of Wakarusa and Josh Mellens of Welaka, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Thomas, a grandson: Tommy Hall in 1978 and 5 brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2006, at 11:00AM at the Bremen Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel at the Bremen Cemetery. Pastor Jerry Smith will officiate. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Bremen.
