Alethea E. 'Ellie' Caudill

Alethea E. "Ellie" Caudill, age 76, of Pierceton, passed away May 10, 2006, at her residence. She was born in South Bend, Indiana, on August 29, 1929, to Daniel & Ruby (Babcock) Kirkham.

On October 20, 1951, she married Hershel Caudill, he survives.

"Ellie" was a Homemaker and a 1947 Graduate of Pierceton High School. She was also a member of South Shore Golf Club and she was a member of the Pierceton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Hershel of Pierceton,

3 Daughters: Kathy Williams of Pierceton, Karen Caudill of Warsaw, Kimberly (David) Erwin of Raleigh, NC, 2 Sons: Dennis (Rebecca) Caudill of Warsaw, Dan "Boone" (Julie) Caudill of Warsaw, 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 2 Sisters: Verna Hathaway of Pierceton, Vera Drudge of Pierceton, 2 Brothers: Robert Riemersma of North Manchester, Glenn Riemersma of Pierceton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Grandson: Travis Williams, 1 Son-in-law: Ricky Williams, 1 Sister: Francis Whittig, 1 Brother: Bud Kirkham.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at 10:00AM, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Pastor Harlan Steffen will officiate. Burial will follow at the McClintic Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 16,2006, from 9-10:00AM at the funeral home.
