Elsie Margaret Long

Elsie Margaret Long, age 102, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Tandem Health Care of St. Petersburg in Seminole, Florida. She was born in Colfax, IL and moved to Pinellas Park in 2002 from Bremen, Indiana, where she was a long time resident. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Past Matron and member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #88, a member of the Mother's Club and the Women's Guild at her church, all in Bremen. She was an avid golfer and formed the first women's golf league at Sprig O'Mint Golf Club in Bremen. Elsie is survived by a son James B. of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Dorothy V. Pfeiffer of Peru, IN and Shirley Drof of Pinellas Park; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen on Sunday, February 19, 2006 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Services will held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Mishler Funeral Home with Rev. Susan P. Sickelka of the United Church of Christ officiating. Internment will follow at the Bremen Cemetery. The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.
