Linda S. Gerencser

Linda "Susie" Gerencser, age 53, of Milford, passed away on Monday, Feburary 13, 2006, as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne. She was born in Whitley County, Indiana, on August 20, 1952, to Andy C. & Phyllis J. (Howland) James.

A lifelong area resident, Susie formerly worked at Lake City Bank, attended Milford United Methodist Church and was a 1971 S. Whitley High School graduate.

On September 5, 1998, she married Joe A. Gerencser. He survives.

Survivors include her husband: Joe A. Gerencser, Jr. of Milford, 2 sons: Jeremy Schwartz of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Chad L. Schwartz of Salt Lake City, Utah. 1 sister: Sandy Stanley of Columbia City, 2 brothers: Eldon James of Houston, Texas, and Andy James of Alabama. 2 grandchildren: Ronald Anthony and Jadah Shea Schwartz. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Friday, February 17, 2006, at 10:30AM at the Milford United Methodist Church. Pastor Rob Nelson will officiate. Friends may call Thursday, February 16, 2006, from 5:00-8:00PM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford.

Memorials may be given to the Milford United Methodist Church.
