Phyllis Duncan

Phyllis Duncan, formerly of Milford, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2006, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born June 18, 1933, to David & Marjorie (Matthews) Wuthrich.

Born in Kosciusko County, Phyllis, a homemaker, grew up in Milford. She moved to Three Rivers, Michigan, at an early age, and has resided in White Pigeon Manor in White Pigeon, Michigan, since 1988. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and a Former Member of P.W.P. (Parents Without Partners). She received her Business Degree from the Glen Oaks College School of Business.

On August 7, 1949, she married Bernard L. Duncan. He preceded her in death in May of 1988.

Survivors include 2 sons: David B. (Paula K.) Duncan, of White Pigeon, Michigan, and Gerry L. (Denise) Duncan of Constantine, Michigan. Her 3 grandchildren: Candra Cloud, Jeannie Duncan and Chad Duncan. 4 Great-grandchildren also survive. She has 2 brothers: Nelson (Barb) Wuthrich and Bill (Sharon) Wuthrich, both of Bristol, Indiana, surviving. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Bernard L., a son: Marvin E. Duncan, who died in 1962, and a sister: Katherine Davis.

Services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at 1:00PM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Rev. Charlie Blackmon will officiate. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00-1:00PM (2 hours prior to services) on Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at the Funeral Home in Milford.

Memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Michigan School for the Blind in Lansing, Michigan.
