H. Thomas Jackson

December 13, 1939 — January 1, 2006

H. Thomas Jackson, of Nappanee, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2006, following a brief illness at the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in South Bend. He was born on December 13, 1939, in Xenia, Ohio, to Kenneth G. and Ruby I. (Dunlavy) Jackson.

Tom, a lifetime area resident, was in Sales and Marketing for 10 years with Bornemann Products, became President in 1970 and Owner/CEO since 1975. He was a graduate of Mentor High School, Mentor, Ohio, in 1957, Member and 2005 President of Tippecanoe Lake Country Club, Full Director of First Source Bank in South Bend for many years and had a passion for golf.

On October 5, 1963, he married Gail Shoemaker, she survives.

Survivors include his wife: Gail Jackson of Nappanee, 1 son: Daniel Thomas (Lisa) Jackson of Mission Viejo, California, and 1 daughter: JoAnn (Robert) Jackson of Mishawaka. 2 Grandchildren: Adam and Benjamin. 1 brother: Robert R. "Bud" (Cheryl) Jackson of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at 4:00PM Saturday, January 7, 2006, at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Friends may call from 1:00-4:00PM to visit with the family and celebrate Tom's life, at the funeral home.
