Anna Mary "Mimi" Smith

Anna Mary "Mimi" Smith, age 85, of Syracuse, formerly of Chicago and Syracuse, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 21, 2005. On June 17, 1920, she was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Red W. Radcliffe and Grace Bell Crawford.

Mimi was a Liberty Mutual policyholder service representative and worked as an office manager for Blakesley Electronics, before she retired. She graduated from Wilson City College in 1943 and was a bible student.

On August 9, 1948, she married Grover Stuart Smith, he preceded her in death in 1985. She then married Wayne Blakesley on May 10, 1995, he survives.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Blakesley, 1 sister: Vivian Jones of Chicago, Illinois, 2 nieces: Carol (Paul) Brazeau of Chicago and Rene Radcliffe, of Illinois, 3 nephews: Frank (Katherina "Kitty" Gott, Jr., of Wisconsin, Peter and Paul Radcliffe. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Grover Smith, 1 brother, 1 sister and 1 niece.

Serivces will be held Monday, December 26, 2006, at 1:00PM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Pastor Jay Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, December 26, 2005, from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the Funeral Home.
