Dale E. Redman, age 88, of Plymouth, passed away Friday, October 7, 2005, at the Community Hospital of Bremen. A lifelong area resident, he was born on April 4, 1917, in Bremen, Indiana, to Charles & Charlotte (Price) Redman.
Dale farmed for 55 years and was a 1935 graduate of Lapaz High School. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of WWII and a member of the Bremen VFW.
On August 4, 1945, he married Lois Marie Kring. She preceded him in death in 1990.
Survivors include a son: David (Denise) Redman of Williams, Indiana; a daughter: Rebecca (Larry) Greer of Plymouth, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters: Marjorie Martin of Rochester, Indiana, and Natalie (Don) Nunemaker of Bremen. Dale is also survived by his significant other: Alice Cree of Logansport, Indiana, and a sister-in-law: Marie Redman of Bremen. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Lois Marie Redman, a brother: Lewis Dean Redman and a sister: Gladys Clindaniel.
Services will be held 1:30PM Tuesday, October 11, 2005, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. The Reverend David Kerkove will officiate. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery with military rites. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday and from 4-8PM on Monday, October 10, 2005, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
Memorials may be made to the Lapaz Fire Department or the Bremen Hospital Neonatal Unit.
