Iola M. Miller

Iola Maxine Miller, age 89, of Winona Lake, formerly of Sarasota, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005. She was born in St. Joseph County, Indiana, on September 8, 1916.

Iola was a retired from jewelry store sales. She was a former member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sarasota, Florida, and a current member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw.

On May, 5, 1934, she married Alvin A. Miller in Lapaz, Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1998.

Survivors include a daughter: Darlene (James) Heierman of Leesburg, Indiana, and a son: Larry A. (Bunny) Miller of Perry, Michigan. She has 2 sisters surviving: Inabelle E. Carbiener of Bradenton, Florida, and Phyllis O. Madden of Granger, Indiana. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alvin A. Miller.

Services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2005, at 11:00AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center Street in Bremen, Indiana. Rev. K.C. Dehning will officiate. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services on Saturday, September 24, 2005, at the Church in Bremen.

Memorials may be given to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw.
