Virginia L. Hackleman

Virginia L. Hackleman, age 65, of 3686 E 1300 N, Syracuse, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2005 at Lakeland Health & Rehabilitation in Milford. She was born September 23, 1939 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her parents were Warren L. Higby and Robert & Rae (Johnson) Grimes.

Virginia moved to Syracuse from Kalamazoo, MI in 1969. She was a cook for various local restaurants. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church, and was a member of the American Legion. She attended High School in Paw Paw, MI.

November 2, 1987, she married Terry Hackleman, who preceded her in death July 3, 1990. Survivors include 2 sons, Rev. Ronald (Laura) Packer of Lawton, MI, and Robert (April) Mansfield of Milford, a daughter Christine (Phil) Packer-Gosdzinski of Marcellus, MI, 8 Grandchildren and a cousin, Kenneth Miller of Kalispell, Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Terry Hackleman.

Graveside services will be held 12:00PM Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Syracuse Cemetery.
