Wendell Franklin Holbrook

October 21, 1945 — August 31, 2005

Wendell Franklin Holbrook, 59, of North Webster, IN, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at his residence following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born October 21, 1945 in Baltimore, MD to Joseph & Mellie (Reynolds) Holbrook. Wendell lived in Kentucky, moved to Andrews, IN, and lived in Phoenix for 27 years before moving to North Webster in 1993.

Wendell was an estimator for Phend and Brown, Inc. in Milford. He was a 1964 graduate of Andrews High School, attended Glendale Community College in Arizona, was affiliated with the Milford United Methodist Church, Served in the US Air Force from 1965-1969, was a member of the American Legion Post 223 in Syracuse where he was Commander 2003-2004, Cromwell Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, 32nd degree Mason, Shrine, Lakeland Eagles #3760, and South Shore Golf Course. Wendell loved karaoke, fishing, horseback riding and golf.

January 25, 1979 he married Nancy Cash and she survives. Also survivng are 2 Sons: Jason (Michell) Holbrook and Bobby Cash both of Phoenix, 1 Daughter: Denise (Travis) McCloe of Phoenix, 4 Grandchildren: Thoeren and Grayson Holbrook and Dillon and Katelyn McCloe all of Phoenix, 1 Sister: Emma Lou (Harold) Smith of Elon College, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held 10:30AM Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Rev. L. Robert Nelson will officiate. Millitary services will follow. Friends may call 4-8PM Friday at the Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30PM.
